L'Empreinte du Désert processes personal data in strict compliance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and the EU GDPR. We gather only the minimal information required to organize your Saharan expedition.

We collect: • Identity: First name, Last name, Country of residence; • Contact: Email address, Phone / WhatsApp number; • Trek data: Requested dates, party size, physical fitness notes, dietary preferences. This data is exclusively used to build customized quotes, coordinate terrain logistics, and reply to your messages.

No personal data is ever sold, rented, or transferred to advertising networks. Only authorized team members (lead guide, transport coordinator) have access to necessary trip details. Data is retained for up to 3 years following last contact unless legal or accounting obligations mandate otherwise.

In operating our platform, we rely on the following infrastructure sub-processors: • Hosting & CDN distribution: Vercel Inc. (USA); • Transactional email routing: Resend Inc.; • Optional traveler authentication: Google Ireland Limited (Google OAuth) acts as a technical sub-processor strictly for travelers who choose to log in post-confirmation. Linking a Google account to existing booking inquiries constitutes an additional data processing operation requiring your distinct explicit consent, requested via a dedicated checkbox in your traveler portal.
